What are the Essex Safeguarding Adults Board Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Policies and Procedures?

Essex Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adult Policies and Procedures are our detailed guidelines and instructions which explain the steps that should be taken by professionals to keep adults at risk, safe from abuse and or neglect. They set out what should be done when there are concerns about the adult’s safety or wellbeing, and support the delivery of our overarching Safeguarding Adults Strategy.

What is SET? 

The Safeguarding Adults Boards in Southend, Essex and Thurrock (SET) recognise the vital role that all agencies play in safeguarding adults. The three Boards work together, as far as possible, to achieve comprehensive outcomes for adults across our communities.
